Native Species - Nothern Pacific Rattlesnake - Crotalus Oreganus

Rattlesnakes are the only native venomous snakes in California. The only species of rattlesnake that resides in Northern California is the Northern Pacific Rattlesnake - Crotalus oreganus. These snakes tend to like habitats that are in dry, rocky areas. If you encounter a rattlesnake on your property, please contact us if you would like to have it relocated.
